I helped him get the answers he needed on how best to do that, and I gave him a daily practice to visualize everything working. He was amazed when, a week later, a major bank agreed to partner with him. It was a successful win-win project for everyone.

I soon discovered he was micromanaging his star team because he felt responsible for everything as "the genius behind the tech."
